For a deeper engagement with your inner world.

Virtual therapy for individuals in California and Texas

Individual therapy

You’ve done a great deal of self-reflection, and your life still doesn't feel the way you hoped it would. You may sense there is more aliveness and truth than you’re currently able to reach. Patterns that once helped you navigate can begin to narrow your life.

Understanding has brought clarity. The next step is a deeper, more direct experience. We turn toward your inner terrain, using what has brought you here as the entry point.

In session, we move at a pace that allows you to fully feel. We give careful attention to what arises beneath the surface of explanation — the emotions, impulses, and shifts that are easy to move past. This is where a clearer, more honest relationship with yourself begins to take hold.

This work is about stepping out of survival and into a life that feels inhabited. It is about coming back into contact with yourself and living from there.

When awareness alone hasn’t brought the change you’re hoping for.

What brings people to therapy

People begin therapy for many reasons. Sometimes it starts with feeling stuck in ways that no longer reflect who you are. Life can feel internally misaligned, dulled by low mood, or strained by anxiety, grief, or burnout. You may understand what’s happening and still feel unable to shift it.

At other times, the strain shows up in your day-to-day life. Thoughts loop. Reassurance doesn’t last. Self-criticism grows louder. You move through your days competently, yet privately feel worn down by the effort it takes.

For some, therapy begins during a transition or loss. A relationship changes. A role ends. A decision carries weight. You may not know exactly what needs to change, only that something in your life is asking for attention.

How we’ll work together

Weekly virtual sessions. I begin by getting to know you, what has shaped you and what brings you here now. We slow down and look at what is happening in the present, working with whatever feels stuck or is holding you back. Together, we move toward changes that hold outside of session.

Fee: $225 per session

Who this is for

People who want to go beyond symptom management

This work creates the conditions to look at your patterns directly—without urgency, without shame—and to decide what still fits and what no longer does. From there, change becomes less about quickly fixing yourself and more about living with greater clarity and intention.

This work is a good fit for people who value:

• Collaboration in the therapeutic relationship

• Space to think and feel without pressure to perform

• Honest engagement with their inner life

• Attention to subtle emotional experience

• Openness to a process that unfolds over time

• Depth and emotional complexity

Frequently asked questions

  • There’s no fixed timeline, and the length of therapy depends on what you’re hoping to explore. Some people come for a focused period of time, while others continue longer. I work with many clients over the long term, staying with them as their lives unfold and change.

  • I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly or participate in insurance panels. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement.

I provide monthly superbills for you to submit to your insurance company.

I also partner with Mentaya, which can submit claims on your behalf for a small fee and offers a benefits tracker to help clarify coverage. Using Mentaya is optional, and you’re always welcome to submit superbills yourself.

Because every plan is different, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits. If you have questions about the process, feel free to reach out.

  • That’s more common than people expect. Sometimes it’s about fit, timing, or the kind of support that was offered. We can talk about what felt unhelpful before and what you’re hoping for now.

  • Many of my clients have demanding jobs. Virtual sessions support consistent, meaningful therapy even with a full schedule.

  • You don’t have to know right away; fit often becomes clearer over the first few sessions. A consultation call can help you get a feel for me and my approach. Feeling comfortable, understood, and able to be honest in the relationship is just as important as my experience or credentials.
